Lori Sandoval and David Loy craft musical soundscapes. Ancestor Alley is an original work in every sense of the word, blending ancient and modern textures into something profound and evocative, while still fresh and edgy.

Lori sounds like a warm breeze with glints of the sun warming you every few minutes. Channelling music and remedies, shadows and light. She plays guitar, a little sax, a bit of piano, percussion and sings like she feels you.

David is a multi-instrumentalist and musical mind. He has shared the stage with many wonderful musicians from New York to Asia and many points in between.

Ancestor Alley includes a 12-page booklet that shares more about the project.

We have all played the bad, the good, and the mindful in different lifetimes. We were the unfair land owner, the plundering warrior, the queen with no conscience. We were the kind and the generous that risked our lives for others on our journey to raise our souls. We have been everything we hate and everything we love. Ourjudgments cause war inside and outside of us. When we find it hardto own the dark that lives inside of us we begin to judge others.Remember that by truly allowing all the parts of ourselves to beseen and loved, we find wholeness and peace. We are never alone.
Others have been on this path. When we are brave, we dream and connect to places in the unknown. That is what this music is about.Whatever comes to you when you listen is yours, a gift that you have given yourself. Listen to it loud in a quiet place and let it carry you to the places of your ancestors.
